Discover Colombia’s world-famous coffee on this tour to Palmitas from Medellin. You’ll learn all about the farming process and you’ll be able to taste some exquisite coffee.

One of our professional drivers will pick you up from your accommodation in Medellin and you’ll head East of the city and after just 45 minutes you’ll reach San Sebastián de Palmitas. In this small town, you’ll have the chance to learn everything about the coffee-making process.

Once we reach San Sebastián de Palmitas, we’ll make our way to a coffee plantation, where you’ll be able to admire the green hills and dense vegetation. Plus, your expert guide will be able to give you so many details about the coffee farming and manufacturing process. Coffee is not just a drink here, it’s a way of life, and you’ll have to opportunity to see this first-hand!

You’ll take a break to enjoy a traditional “paisa” lunch and refreshing drink and then it’ll be time for a coffee tasting of coffee produced on this same farm.

After this incredible experience, you’ll return to Medellin and your driver will drop you back at your hotel.

Optional Activities

Horseback ride

If you want to extend your coffee experience, at the end of the coffee farm tour, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a horseback ride along the beautiful rolling hills of the region. During the ride you will admire the coffee landscapes and panoramic views that the area offers. This activity will last approximately 2 hours and we’ll finish the day by returning to your hotel in Medellin at approximately 6:30 pm.
